Sean Gilligan
Is an award-winning New York based photographer, who is best known for his portraiture, landscapes, travel photography and Americana imagery. He uses photography to more closely investigate his surroundings and make connections to those people who are dynamic, powerful and play leadership roles in their communities.
His client list includes Peugeot, The Wall Street Journal, Condé Nast, The NBA, The Gaurdian, CNN, Forbes Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Nike, Adidas, Camelbak, Starbucks, Mountain Hardware, Burton Snowboards, and The Boys and Girls Clubs Of America. He has shot extensively on specific projects and assignments in Namibia, Africa; Morocco, North Africa; Geneva, Switzerland; Budapest, Hungary; Paris, France; North, Central and Southern Mexico; and the West Coast of Ireland.
Sean is currently working on a book, featuring photographs of the exceptional people of Harlem; its musicians, artists, filmmakers, business owners, politicians and long-time residents.
